It looks like the Trump Campaign got the inspiration for its campaign sign from an episode of The Simpsons. The same sign design that has been affixed to podiums that Trump has spoken from was originally used in an episode of The Simpsons that originally aired on March 19, 2000.

There have been plenty of news outlets that have reported on this Simpsons episode, however, I noticed that they never mentioned the sign design.

So, if you want proof that the Trump campaign (and its sign) is something straight out of a sitcom, now you have it.

For those of you that believe that there could be another explanation for this, it could be that the creators of The Simpsons can see the future. I don’t believe that is too likely, however, they might know something we don’t.
